Being a Military Wife

There is little fanfare for what I do. I don't get ticker tape parades. I don't get medals. I don't get promoted.

But what I do is so important to those that protect our country, risk their lives to defend our Constitution and our rights in this nation.

I am a military wife.

I keep the homefires burning. I make sure there is a home to come home to when my husband has been gone. I keep the children clean and fed and loved and calm while my husband is gone.

I am the rock that the military is built upon.
